Alan joined Edgewood in 1994 as a Partner and a member of the Investment Committee. Prior to Edgewood, Alan was a Vice President in the Institutional Equity Department at First Boston where he served as a member of the firm's stock selection committee. Additionally, Alan worked in the Equity Research Department of Brown Brothers Harriman & Co. Alan graduated cum laude from Northwestern University's Kellogg School of Management with an MBA. He graduated from Emory University with a BA in Economics. Alan is a member of the investment committee at Cold Springs Harbor Laboratory.
